What happened in between my previous blog and this blog? I failed my interview of Hydrogeologist in B. WASA, though I was confident that I will make it through, but I failed, the astonishing thing is that the one who has been selected shared his concerned about the questions asked in the interview and was afraid that those question was not relevant. Whereas I was sure of my answers in interview. Study: I couldn’t complete my M. Phil in due time, I have taken extension now, just started writing my thesis. Started it from sedimentology chapter, the most important of them all. Work: 9:30 am to 7:30 pm work time, giving my 100% at work, nothing bothers boss, still complains at occasions, never appreciates, will take credit of good work, complain about anything less than good.  “My craze for work has never faded and never it will”. My last blog was posted in January 2017. Eight months have been passed. Its 10 th of Muharram the day when Shiite Muslim mourns the dreadful demise of Hazrat Imam Hussein. Its 2: 30 in afternoon at my Office (Ravi Center, Quetta) I just finished my work and started writing this piece. 2017 isn’t year of great achievements for me so far, but it can be as I am waiting for my interview which is to be conducted by Baluchistan Public service commission, I passed the test conducted for the post of Hydro-geologist in Ramadan this year and now eagerly waiting for my interview, If I get selected which I wish more than anything at moment, the last quarter of the year can still be fruitful in terms of any big achievement. Though I was committed to write a blog every month, but this commitment seems to be another addition to long list of unfulfilled commitments. In support of above stated thought I would say that I still have my new year resolution written on piece of white paper placed under my working table mirror, the table I work on for at least 7 hours every day, I used to take a glance on my new year resolution, But now I haven’t put my sight on the paper for quite a while because I know I have failed myself yet again. Weight loss was not on the list of things I had to do during this passing year, but it came in midway as my first marriage proposal was rejected in June. The reason can be anything, but a brother like friend Nazir Dawi from Kabul suggested that I should immediately get in shape or in other case I should be mentally prepared for rejection of many more marriage proposals. I just found that one of great Persian singer and song writer Habib Mohebian, commonly known as Habib has passed away, the news of his demise has been shared by his fellow singer Ebi on Facebook. May his soul rest in eternal peace, at these sad moments I want to extend my condolences to his family and fans around the world. January 20 th of 2016 is death anniversary of one of my favorite personality Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan aka Bacha Khan, the man who has influenced me to great extent by his great work, and fortunately he is not religious figure rather a political and Peace keeping activist.   If you have mourned the demise of Hamid Gul enough and are in your nerves now, I would like you to have some words for Shuja Khanzadah. The two giants fallen within the time span of one week, but in totally different ways, the former died due to brain hemorrhage the latter died in the line of duty. Hamid Gul God knows had blooded his hands with how many innocent lives. One shouldn’t forget that he was among the main architectures of Zia-ul-Haq’s draconian doctrine. Are Jihadists on payroll of someone? Answer to this question can be either Yes or No. Whenever news of any Taliban commander or any Sectarian activist offering his services (for the sake of Jihad) to ISIL comes in front of me, it makes me doubtful about his faith. Jihad is often considered as something related to faith. Faith prey upon strict beliefs.Your belief and faith can't change over night. Jihadists changing their faith (by offering their services to another extremist group) that frequently are surely miss guided. We have never collected that huge amount of sympathies we collected on Peshawar massacre. A lot has been said and written, I shouldn't have chosen this topic for my monthly blog, but the incident was gut wrenching and the consequences were huge, so I had to write something about this. This isn't the first time Peshawar has bled, but this was an increase in the long list of tragic incidents Peshawar has seen in the recent time. 147 boys along with their teachers were killed in day light in provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhuwa. Whenever, My Big Bro listen to my musical choices on my laptop, a reaction comes up in form of scolding and anger or more often with a request to play “Good music” or at least the music his ears bear to listen. Beside the respect and love I have in my heart for him I mostly refuse him in this regard due to his limited knowledge about music and his limited choices. I am the one who has huge musical choices. The singers I started listening first, was few famous Pakistani Pop singers (Haroon Rashid, Fakhir Mahmood, Sajjad Ali, Ali Haidar etc), when private Fm music channels started broadcasting for the first time back in 2003, 2004. 23 October 2014 was among one of those bloodiest days Quetta has seen in recent years. It was an ordinary day until the incidents that happen during the day made it extraordinary. The incidents that happened during the day were multi-oriented, the first incident in the row that happened in morning was case of sectarian killing, when innocent fruit merchants of Hazzara town were killed in firing on the bus they were traveling in, one of many cases that take place on regular basis now. The second incident was attack on the FC patrolling vehicle on Qambarani road, which took at least 2 lives. The third incident was the one felt more deeply across the country, attack on the Key Religious Political Leader Moulana Fazal Rehman of JUI-F, just after their gathering in Quetta city.
